Prototype, Flatpack Lighting Concept, 2024

Solvo is a study in softness, structure, and simplicity. Developed in just one week, this flatpack lighting concept brings together handcrafted fiber textures and precise magnetic assembly to create an object that is both emotionally resonant and functionally elegant.

Designed to ship flat and assemble without tools, Solvo’s cylindrical shade is made from a translucent, fibrous material that diffuses light into a warm, organic glow. Embedded magnets allow the form to snap into place with gentle precision, transforming a flat surface into a glowing column with satisfying ease.

This lamp invites quiet interaction. The play of light through the layered fibers creates depth and movement, while its form sits lightly in any space, intimate, approachable, and tactile.
