SERVEWARE CONCEPT

3D Rep. IV, Prototype Concept, 2024

This serveware project is a sculptural response to the everyday act of serving, transforming it into a moment of connection and reflection. Developed through the framework of Rowena Reed’s visual design methodology, the piece explores how form and function can coexist with emotional depth.

Drawing inspiration from the organic geometries of Johnny Mattsson and the expressive forms of Wendell Castle, I used empathic sketching, iterative modeling, and a balance of digital and manual techniques to evolve the concept. The final design invites tactile interaction and visual curiosity, embodying my belief that functional objects can, and should, evoke feeling.

This project is not just about utility; it’s about storytelling through shape, rhythm, and space.
