Prototype, Tabletop Collection, 2023

A homage to Korean bar culture and the tradition of makgeolli drinking, this ensemble includes a makgeolli pot with a matching ladle and drinking bowl, a flat plate for appetizers and side dishes, and a utensil stand for the accompanying spoon and chopsticks. Rooted in traditional Korean aesthetics, the collection is inspired by Mukjeon, a restaurant known for pairing refined makgeolli with flavorful Korean dishes. This minimalist yet functional set brings a sense of harmony and ritual to the modern dining experience.
